Rhonda is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in rheumatology. She is very active in the clinical trials at The Center for Rheumatology which are paving the way for new treatments of rheumatic diseases.

Rhonda Murphy, a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant, was born in Western Pennsylvania. She attended the Pennsylvania State University and graduated with High Distinction, receiving a BS degree in Biology in 1985. After completing the Albany Med/Hudson Valley Physician’s Assistant Program in 1987, she has worked as an Internal Adult Medicine PA for Community Health Plan and as a surgical PA for The Bone and Joint Center in the Capital District. Rhonda has done volunteer work as a medical liaison for The Samaritan’s Purse Children’s Heart Project, enabling children from underprivileged countries to receive life saving heart surgery.
