Dr. Toledo is a Partner and Chief Medical Officer at The Center for Rheumatology. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Toledo is also certified in medical technology and is The Center for Rheumatology’s Clinical Laboratory Director. Dr. Toledo offers musculoskeletal ultrasound services to practice patients and has an expertise in Degos Disease.
Dr. Toledo most recently demonstrated proficiency in the use of ultrasound in the practice of rheumatology which has helped improve patient care and safety. Dr. Toledo met the requirements of the American College of Rheumatology's Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology to be entitled to use the RhMSUS™ designation.
Dr. Toledo graduated from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico where she obtained a B.S. in Biology. She became Board Certified in Medical Technology and worked in one of Puerto Rico’s main hospitals. She obtained her medical degree at the University Autonoma de Guadalajara, and completed her Fifth Pathway training at New York Medical College. She came to the Albany area to be closer to family members, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, where she also completed her fellowship training in Rheumatology. She is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and The American College of Rheumatology. She has participated in clinical research in Rheumatology and has contributed in the writing of medical publications. She has volunteered in the provision of health education to the Capital District Latino community and has also provided medical care to the Albany area underserved population at a charity clinic. She enjoys cycling, running and hiking.
